Abstract:

In this paper the problem of the transmission of vibration through a textile layer is presented. A mathematical model of a two degree of freedom system containing a textile layer and excited to vibrate by an electromagnet is formulated. The numerical simulation showsthat the textile layer increases the resonance frequency.
