Abstract:

This paper presents methods for the preparation of systems composed of polylactide (PLA) nonwoven and selected bioacceptable polymers such as poly(acrylic acid) (PAA), Carbopol, poly(N,N-dimethylaminoethyl methacrylate), (PDAMA), alginic acid (AlgA), chitosan (CHN) and gelatin. The modification was performed by the method of padding or entrapping.
The possibility of further modification by the layer-by-layer (LbL) deposition method was also examined. The moisture absorption and water retention by the systems obtained were determined. Changes in the surface electric charge under the influence of the layers successively deposited and the biological activity of selected systems were examined.
